Craig Auberger has an extensive background in the construction industry. As a founding Co-partner of 1st Inspection services, Craig started working for his father in Cincinnati during his high school years, through college and into his late 20's. Craig Homes Inc. his family company, built over 2,000 custom homes along with small office and commercial properties in the Cincinnati and surrounding area. Craig has experience with all aspects of construction...from the problems that resulted...to the remedies. This led to him becoming President of the American Association of Certified Appraisers with a merged membership of over 5,000 designate professionals in the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers. In the 90's, he was an Officer/Trustee and consultant to the Appraisal foundation in Washington for 5 years and helped create the ANSI square footage measurement directive through the National Association of Home Builders.

Craig began teaching with Hondros College in 1983 and has attained 6 industry specific professional designations presenting seminars in over 150 cities worldwide with a passion for protecting the consumer through professional knowledge and experience.

 

Sean Price GHI

Position: Home Inspector Instructor

Sean has eight years of home inspection experience with over 4000 inspections completed. He is also certified to conduct mold inspections by the Indoor Air Quality Association and is a Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE). Sean is also licensed and experienced in Radon testing and performing wood destroying insect inspections. He is a long time member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) since 1999 and has been teaching for Hondros College for the past 5 years.

 

Rick Harrington MHI, CMI, IAQ2, SIRI

Position: Home Inspector Instructor

Rick was previously the Regional Property inspector for the country's largest hard money lender. He performed over 4000 inspections and inspection reviews and approvals and trained inspectors on rehab property evaluations and draw inspections. Rick also created inspector training manual and procedures including local permit requirements in over 20 markets. He has accumulated over 20 years experience in remodeling and rehabbing in the Columbus, Ohio area. Certifications and memberships include Radon Tester State of Ohio Department of Health #RT647, Certified Mold Inspector #70534, Certified Specialist - Infrared Residential Inspector - Advanced SIRI ADV#0246, Level 1 Thermographer #0246, interNACHI member ID NACHI05042894, ASHI Associate member ID 148425, Co-Founding member of the Ohio Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI), Home Energy Tune-uP Certified #879, and NIFAST certified inspector - National Institute of Fire And Safety Training.
