Ohio Insurance Continuing Education Requirements
Insurance agents in the state of Ohio are required to complete 20 hours of approved continuing education every two years based on their original date of licensure.
Required Courses
There are no required courses for insurance continuing education. You may take any insurance CE course approved by the Ohio Department of Insurance to complete your 20 hours.
Course Options
You are able to take your courses in the Classroom or Online. No final exam is required for online courses.
Note:
Attendance in insurance continuing education classes is mandated by the State of Ohio. Arriving late will prevent you from receiving credit for the course you are attending.
