I have always had a soft spot for people who need help. That’s one of the big reasons why I chose to get into nursing. I first started out in the Practical Nursing program at Hondros College of Nursing. Now, I am in my last quarter of the Associate Degree in Nursing program.
I love learning about how the human body works and using that knowledge to help others. I feel confident that I can assist patients with their needs. Hondros came highly recommended to me by a friend and the faculty and staff have not disappointed.
I have learned many skills, but something I had to work on throughout my time at Hondros was bettering my time management. It took some sacrifices with my personal life to reach my goals, but it is all worth it in the end.
If you are thinking about nursing and going to Hondros, take the jump! And when you start, apply yourself to the best of your ability, and you can do it! What got me through was having a strong faith in God and having great friends I met along the way. Those friends are great influences in my life, and we will cheer each other on to the end!
