Now that I have graduated, I feel empowered and capable in ways I could have only imagined five years ago. Before nursing, I thought about doing something with social work and teaching. But I was so interested in medicine! That is what pulled me into nursing. Ultimately, I decided on a nursing career because I knew it was something I could do that would help people.
I chose Hondros because of the way I was treated coming in. The staff here is so helpful and encouraging! If you are even thinking about nursing, do it now. Don’t wait. Anything that you can do to invest in yourself is a step in the right direction. But you have to want it.
Don’t get me wrong, nursing school is tough. You have to love the information you are receiving, and you have to commit to school before anything else. I put school and studying first. If you can do that, you can succeed too!
