As coronavirus hospitalizations continue to trend upward in Ohio, nurses are in high demand.
It's National Skilled Nursing Care Center Week, and a number of organizations are toasting local healthcare workers and first responders.
The COVID-19 has demonstrated that nurses are able to use an abundance of acquired skills to help combat the pandemic.
In an effort to get more "boots on the ground" in the fight against the coronavirus, Governor Mike DeWine temporarily suspended a law that requires newly-graduated nurses to pass a standardized test to get a license to work.
