Back in 2008, my dad had a severe stroke that changed his life forever. There was no action taken immediately after it happened, and we were told that is why he became paralyzed.
Fast forward to a few years later, I was talking to a friend who was a nurse and told him what had happened to my father. He felt sorry for me and my family because my dad could have been saved from getting paralyzed had he been rushed to the emergency room. I decided then and there to join a nursing school so I can help prevent this from happening to other families. I also wanted to save lives.
I went through the Practical Nursing program a couple of years ago. After working for about three years, I chose to come back to Hondros College of Nursing. With the flexible class schedule, I was able to fit in my work schedule and time with my family. The professors and staff members here at Hondros are really helpful with scheduling, homework, and tutoring.
Hondros is the place to go! The first step is going up to the front desk and filling out an application. My advice to anyone entering the program is to stay organized. Make sure you have the syllabus for each class and that way you will always be on top of the game.
