Hondros College is a unique learning institution. We aim to provide career-specific knowledge toward continuing education (CE) requirements needed to succeed in a broad range of careers in
nursing,
real estate,
insurance,
appraisal,
mortgage and
home inspection. We focus on these careers because they offer stability, flexibility, independence and financial reward to our students.
Hondros College was founded in 1981 as a
real estate preparatory school. Although the school curriculum quickly grew to include licensing and continuing education courses and other areas of study, real estate has always been at the heart of the college. Today, more than 80% of the 55,000 real estate licensees in Ohio have attended Hondros College for pre-licensing, post-licensing, or continuing education courses.
The
nursing program at Hondros College includes a Practical Nurse Program (LPN) in Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton and an Associate Degree in Nursing Program (RN) in Cincinnati and Columbus. One of the top nursing schools in Ohio, our nursing program is accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and also approved by the State Board of Career College & Schools as well as fully approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN). The program is also a 1 + 1 Nursing Education program – perfect for those just getting started in the nursing field or LPNs who are ready to take their career to the next level.
In addition to its accredited real estate and nursing programs, Hondros College offers a wide array of continuing education and licensing courses for a number of different careers. These areas of study range from home inspection to
corporate training. Additionally, many of the courses offered at Hondros College are available off campus, including online continuing education and licensing courses.
