Hondros College of Nursing and Foundations Health Solutions expanded their community commitment by establishing the Foundations Health Solutions Scholar Program, aimed at addressing the critical nursing workforce shortage impacting Ohio.
Foundations Health Solutions will provide selected scholarship recipients financial support towards their Practical Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing program at Hondros College of Nursing. Students will complete the required academic coursework at Hondros College of Nursing and complete most of their clinical experiences at Foundations Health Solutions facilities.
The program is limited to students at HCN's Akron, Cincinnati/West Chester, Cleveland/Independence, Columbus and Dayton campuses. To be eligible to apply students must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled at one of HCN's five participating campuses
- Enrolled in their second or third quarter of the PN program or third or fourth quarter of the ADN program
- Attend an information session with Foundations Health Solutions prior to the application deadline.
The Foundations Health Solutions Scholar Program was created to fund your part of your education, provide you with practical experience while you study, and give you placement options when you graduate.
