HCN Success Stories
Academic Support Advisor, Lifelong Learner, and Student Advocate ✨

From a young age, I knew I wanted a career where I could truly make a difference. As I went through my own educational journey, I discovered a deep passion for lifelong learning—and a desire to support others as they navigate theirs.

I earned my associate degree from Sinclair Community College in 2020, followed by a bachelor’s in mass communication from Wright State University in 2021. Currently, I’m working toward my MBA with American Public University.

When the opportunity came to enter the world of higher education, I was excited to pursue a path I’d always been drawn to. Over the past four years with Hondros College of Nursing, I’ve had the chance to explore several roles—from Student Finance Advisor to Campus Assistant Registrar, Financial Services Advisor, Administrative Coordinator, and now, Academic Support Advisor. Each position has given me insight into how our departments collaborate to serve students holistically.

In my current role, I feel truly at home. I love using my creativity and building meaningful connections with our students—being a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, and their loudest cheerleader. Helping them reach their goals and supporting our community along the way is what inspires me every day.

I’m so proud to be a part of the Dayton team and to serve such incredible students!
