HCN Success Stories

I wanted to start nursing school because I felt God was calling me to make a positive impact on people's lives through healthcare. It's my belief that by serving others in this way, I'm fulfilling a purpose that aligns with my faith.

Initially, I was drawn to Hondros College of Nursing because of its convenience. The college is close to home, and I could work during the day while taking classes at night. Once I began starting the process, the admissions team made everything go very smoothly and quickly. I decided to go to nursing school in September of last year and was admitted for an October start!

I would tell anyone thinking about coming to Hondros to reflect on why they want to be a nurse. Money is obviously a necessity, but the difference one can make with empathy and caring is endless. If your desire is to help people, start the process! It was the best decision I have ever made. It was scary, but I signed up and there was no turning back. I have met wonderful people and learned so much. I am so proud of my accomplishments at Hondros College of Nursing. It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in orientation and now I’ve passed my exit HESI and I’m about to take my last finals in the PN program. It is not easy by any means, but it is possible with hard work.
