HCN Success Stories

Working at Hondros has given me the tremendous honor of witnessing students realize their dreams and step into their new roles as nurses.  I get the opportunity to meet students as they start the program and then work directly with them as they complete nursing school and begin their next chapter.

I love that I am encouraged to interact with students as soon as they start, I assist them throughout the program and support them after they finish. I assist students through resumé writing, interview preparation, career fair preparation and developing professional skills.   All students within the program and graduates are welcomed and encouraged.  It is never too early to start preparing for their nursing careers.

The most rewarding moments for me are when students share their accomplishments with me.  “I got the job,” or “I passed my NCLEX!” I love when they come into my office so excited to share that they passed their exit HESI. Commencement is amazing because I get to see them with their loved ones and celebrating their accomplishments.

I come from a family of nurses. I know they have worked very hard and I am thankful to be a part of their journey. I have been with Hondros for two and a half years and have truly enjoyed it.

Outside of work, I spend my time with my family, pets and playing trivia with friends.
