I worked as a CNA for five years. During those five years, I always did things to improve my patients/residents quality of life. I felt like I could do more to help patients if I became a nurse. I decided to attend Hondros College of Nursing because my friend who is also a student recommended it to me. Plus, the location was close to my home.

I would tell anyone who is thinking about starting nursing school that time management is key. In order to reach my goal of becoming a nurse, I have had to exhibit self-determination, commitment, and always have faith in myself.

In nursing school, always expect the unexpected because unforeseeable things can occur. Forming a study group is key because your classmates will become your family. Never be afraid to ask for help and if there is ever a time you feel like giving up, remember why you started! The harder you work for something, the greater you will feel when you achieve it.
