HCN Success Stories

My desire to become a nurse stemmed from a childhood hospitalization, during which a young nurse named Mary played a significant role in my healing. Her attentiveness and compassionate presence left a lasting impression, creating a profound connection during a vulnerable time. That experience inspired my pursuit of a career in nursing.

The Direct Entry option into the Associate Degree in Nursing program is what attracted me to apply at Hondros College of Nursing. There was no waitlist to enroll, and the length of the program complemented my prior experience and education. To achieve my goals, I have demonstrated compassion and empathy, upheld accountability and integrity, remained committed to continuous learning, communicated effectively, maintained professionalism, and adapted to challenges with resilience and flexibility.

My advice to future students? Every individual’s journey is unique and should not be measured against others. Remaining authentic, resilient, and committed to one’s path is essential—especially in the face of adversity, as challenges are an inevitable part of life.

I would like to leave a final thought: a genuine smile and courteous demeanor leave a lasting impression, allowing positive energy and professionalism to radiate naturally.
