HCN Success Stories

I’ve been working at Hondros for a little over a year and a half, and the experience has been both challenging and rewarding. As Clinical Coordinator, I’ve accomplished things I never imagined for myself. I’ve built strong relationships between clinical sites and the school and secured additional sites to support our growing enrollment. I’ve gained experience in every aspect of nursing education—from enrollment to the first day of lectures, labs, clinicals, and even graduation. It’s incredibly satisfying to know that I play a part in someone’s success.

At the Bingham Farms campus, I work alongside phenomenal faculty and administrative staff. Together, we take pride in the nurses we educate. It is our responsibility to mold and mentor the next generation of nurses. My personal goal as a nurse educator is to ensure that our students build careers that bring peace of mind—just as mine has.

This role also allows me to maintain a healthy work-life balance. I am a wife and a mother of five, including our fur baby. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and participating in activities like flag football and cheer competitions while helping my children navigate life. I also cherish the occasional date night with my husband. During lunch breaks, I’ve even started learning to crochet with some co-workers.

I’m honored to share a small piece of my journey here at Hondros College of Nursing, and I’m excited to see what the future holds!
