As the Regional Career Services Coordinator for the Akron and Independence Campuses of Hondros College of Nursing (HCN), I am privileged to guide students through some of the most pivotal moments in their academic and professional healthcare journeys. My responsibilities encompass organizing career fairs, leading resume workshops, coordinating signature events such as GradFest and Graduate Pinning Composite Photos, and assisting with Commencement planning. Above all, I am dedicated to providing job placement support for our soon-to-be and recent nursing graduates.
What I cherish most about my role is the opportunity to connect with students both before and after graduation—helping them prepare for the workforce, connect with potential employers, and confidently navigate their transition from college to career. I also take great pride in supporting student well-being by offering encouragement, motivation, and a positive presence during a time of significant growth and change.
It's important to me to build relationships with students from the very beginning of their college experience through to the end. I strive every day to live the HCN message—*"We Love Our Students"—*by making myself available, even during informal moments like talking with students on their breaks or just lending an ear. These connections matter, and I work to ensure that each student feels seen, supported, and prepared for life beyond campus.
