I’ve always wanted to be a nurse after seeing my mom work as a nursing assistant for over 30 years. The compassion and love she has for her residents led me to my decision. I have an interest in patient care and knew I wanted to be a part of a care team that helps patients through everything in life.
I chose Hondros College of Nursing because the location was perfect for me. There was no wait list, I was able to start right away and jump in running.
To those considering nursing, be sure to be prepared because everything that could possibly happen during nursing school will happen. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t do as well as others on tests/exams. You will have another one to make up for it, so study harder and change your strategies. This is your journey and your journey alone.
