Hondros College of Nursing LPN Care Grant Terms and Conditions
Students who begin the Practical Nursing Diploma (PN) program for the first time in September 2026 may be eligible for the following:
- The LPN Care Grant is worth up to $2,000 to be equally divided across an eligible student’s first four (4) quarters in the Practical Nursing Diploma program. Students will be billed at the standard tuition rate plus applicable fees before the grant is applied. Students are responsible for all applicable book fees. Eligibility will be verified before the grant is awarded.
Additional terms and conditions:
- Students must meet all requirements for admission as published in the Catalog to be eligible.
- Students must be admitted for the Fall 2026 quarter by September 25, 2026 to be eligible.
- Students must be enrolled in the PN program at one of HCN's Ohio campuses (Akron, Cincinnati/West Chester, Cleveland/Independence, Columbus, Dayton, or Toledo/Maumee).
- Students must maintain continuous enrollment to remain eligible. Students who withdraw and re-enroll may no longer be eligible for the grant. Students who previously received the LPN Care Grant are not eligible for the LPN Care Grant a second time.
- Grants are non-transferable, and no substitution or cash equivalent/refund is allowed.
- The Practical Nursing Diploma LPN Care Grant may not be combined with other grants or scholarships offered by Hondros College of Nursing.
- Employees of American Public Education, Inc. and American Public University System, Inc. and their family members are not eligible for this grant.
